Her sketchbooks are filled with seabirds arguing on sea cliffs, curious seals, museum specimens, weather notes and the occasional muddy footprint. These observations become watercolour illustrations, prints and paper goods that celebrate wildlife with warmth, curiosity and a touch of humour.
Deeply inspired by natural history museums and time spent outdoors, Zoe believes that paying attention is an act of care. Through her work she hopes to share the delight of noticing the extraordinary details hidden in everyday encounters with nature.
Most days, you'll probably find her somewhere on the Scottish coast, waiting patiently for birds to do something interesting.
